Demand That CNN Reinstate Marc Lamont Hill!

Dear Mr. Zucker,

I am writing in support of Professor Marc Lamont Hill and urge you to reinstate him immediately as a CNN contributor.

Professor Hill’s statements advocating for Palestinian human rights have been twisted and distorted by those seeking to malign his legitimate criticism of Israeli policies. CNN should not have caved in to such pressure. Professor Hill is the victim of a smear campaign that seeks to silence and punish anyone who dares express a viewpoint supportive of equal rights for Palestinians. Professor Hill has always denounced hate and racism in all forms, including anti-Semitism. It is outrageous and hypocritical that Professor Hill would be punished for his support of Palestinian human rights while CNN employs political commentators like Rick Santorum and Alan Dershowitz, who each possess an ugly history of demonizing Palestinians.

Supporting justice and equality for Palestinians is becoming a mainstream opinion. CNN will most certainly lose a major audience by dismissing one of its most popular commentators simply because he spoke up for full Palestinian rights.
